No problems with Stopzilla
I've installed stopzilla on my computers and like it pretty well. It actually catches spyware that Avast doesn't catch.
Before installing Avast, Stopzilla, and the freeware CCcleaner my computers were running slow again in 6 months. I spoke to a former friend of mine that worked for the IT department in my local newspaper. He told me the best way is to completely blow off your hard drive once every 6 months and do a fresh operating system install. He has his programs on a thumb drive for easy re-install.
I didn't want to bother with that so instead installed the 3 above programs and haven't had a problem since. Just like Pay Pal you have dissatisfied customers who hate it.
I also use this for all my transactions online that allow it. I like it also.

Unauthorized charge to my bank account
Checking my bank account I notice that you charge my account 49.95. Why.
I did not authorize any transaction with you. I went to my bank and they are going to launch an investigation. Beside I'm talking to my lawyer and see If I can take you to court. Want to know what are you going to do about this problem.
Now you want me to explain in a hundred words what happened to my account. You people are scam artist no doubt about this. You are going to hear from my lawyer, and from my bank Chase Bank.

Scammed by stopzilla!
recently had my computer lock up with a message that said I had to immediately call a number from Microsoft due to virus on my computer. Long story short my previous antivirus was removed and stopzilla installed on my computer for 365$ and was told that it was an active antivirus software and was for a one year subscription with 6 months support. This was only done two weeks ago and now I am getting pop ups saying that my trial subscription has ended and no longer have active antivirus protection!!!

MY NAME IS ANN BOWERS JOHN from STOPZILLA OPTIMIZER and I emphasize "he called me." He also told me this was a LIFETIME PRODUCT. I HAD JUST A SURGERY WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY PC AND IT WAS A HARD DAY.
JOHN, TECHNICIAN GAVE ME A PRICE OF $399.00 FOR LIFETIME, doesn't make sense! I TALKED WITH CHRIS FROM THEN ON.I was never called me back as the next day. I TOLD HIM ON FRIDAY APRIL 8th I was filling a dispute with my bank. He gave me a sob story.I WANT MY MONEY BACK THIS WEEK.

I have had Stopzilla for over 7 years and on numerous occasions have been serviced well on my Lifetime subscriptions. 3 months ago I got a virus and when talking to Stopzilla, I was told that there would be a charge for them to remove it because it was caused by my downloading an executable file that caused the attack.
BAAAHHH. What the *** did they think I bought their lifetime software for? I was told that anything that got past their protection(?) would be my fault and not theirs and they would not fix under their coverage. Their is not longer any coverage for attacks that get past their software.
They have removed themselves from any responsibility and will always escape by saying the purchaser must have directly caused the infection. This is their NEW way of doing business. I ended up reformatting the drive and doing the work myself.
STAY AWAY this is not the company that originally sold and serviced my purchase in the past. RIPOFF!!!!

I purchased stopzilla on fri was told i never had to worry about anything conserning my new computer,on saturday i was contacted by VTec, same company that sold me stopzilla and was told it was not enough i needed to spend 19.00 more per month over my 400.00 dollors i already shelled out sounds like a scam.iam pulling out. If i lose my 99.00 down payment.i will chauk it up as a lesson.
Rude salesman
I had a call from a Stopzillal salesmand and was asked to buy their product. He went on to tell me how great it was and I would never need to do anything in the future to protect my computer.
and he became very angry when I said "I'm not putting anymore, like I've never heard that before. I told him I was not going to put any more money into this computer, it works fine" and he got upset and rudely hung up saying my computer would be dead soon.

After years of being attacked by stopzilla I`ve at last got rid of them from my site,hopefully never to return.I brought in an expert computer guy which cost me to get rid of them,he in turn has a list of Computer clients like Boots PLC included with hundreds of blue chip clients all of whom will now be warned about the Company stopZilla and never use them,I have received over 4000.00 replies to my advert stopZilla,so it's not all been for nothing as each will pass it on building up a blue chip list of companies that will never use them now or in future.

Scam-O-Rama!!
Same thing happened to my boyfriend. What a joke this is.
The funniest part was when they told him on the phone that it would be like $500 or more dollars, then when my bf said he couldn't afford that right now, the "rep" got permission from his "manager" to give him a half-price deal for $300. I knew this was all extremely suspicious, but my bf ignored me and went ahead and got himself seriously scammed. Nothing but pop-ups all the time, now. Yes.
That was about 9 months ago when this all started.
If you get malware telling you to call a phone # for help, steer clear at all costs.

Stopzilla came onto my computer without my knowing or permission and have sinse been advertising FREE of charge then try have blocked me looking at my own work on websites which is part of what I do for a living. Todate I have lost work quite simply becourse I can`t risk taking on clients,to cover myself I have put my name melvin levey onto a write up on Google+ warning other people of what these people do to obtain your contract which they will never get from me now or in the future,I`d rather sell my work door to door than work with these people.
Stopzilla- The Best!
I really don't understand complaints bellow. We use stopzilla since 2006 and never had bad experience with.
Computers get old, and since 2006 my spouse and I replaced those couple of times but Stopzilla stayed. We always had at least 3-4 laptops and one desktop PC. Every time I called, even if is not directly related to the functionality of the program customer service always went extra mile to help and make sure you have all questions answered. Software works great with windows 10 and older.
It's nice to get an US person to talk to instead India, eastern Europe etc. Keep up the good work!

Stopzilla - Antivirus Review from Stuart, Florida
I was scammed by this company. Came to work and they put a warning on my computer that please call this number if you have AT&T and they froze computer.
When I called they stated that computer had several viruses and I needed to install a virus protection. They charged 300.00 to get the viruses removed and they installed stopzilla and stated I would have virus protection for life. That ment any computer I owed for the rest of my life (this is what they told me).
I did have virus protection for about 6 months and I starred getting pop ups so I went to go to find stopzill it is no longer in my computer. Imagine that they took me for 300.00.

StopZilla 7.0 " Arrogance beyond belief ."
I've been using previous versions of StopZilla for several years. No problems, works as expected. StopZilla forced their 7.0 version on me. No more presentation of activity or performance and no log to show anything. Version 7.0 shows nothing. Questioned, StopZilla claimed, "No need to show user anything, just trust us that your computer is protected."
Arrogance beyond belief. I kind of like to know that my purchase is actually working by some sort of notification; like purchase of electricity or cell phone service. Or, "trust but verify".
Switched back to Spyhunter and Reghunter.

Antivirus is ***
Anyone who trys to sell you a lifetime fix using ANTIVIRUS?!?!?! is scamming you.With a 24.17% detection rate any antivirus software is a temporary fix at most and is not going to keep a computer from GETTING infected.The better softwares for antivirus will help you notice the problem and quarantine it for a tech to delete.If you need protection THESE days, get browser protection that works predictively.Don't buy into the hype.If a person gets on a phone and SELLS this to you,then it's all your fault,ALWAYS research before you buy,have them do it for you,if they won't,than their facts are probably not facts:)
