- - The Stopzilla license has been active since 2005 and remains on this laptop.
- - It has cleaned 65 infections in 2020 and 69 recently.
I bought my lifelong Stopzilla anti-virus software license back in May of 2005, and it is still active on this laptop. I bought a new Dell about three years ago, and I wish SZ was still around.
I have many stories of SZ cleaning up my computer, and one was back in 2020 when an online forum room used for work infected my laptop with 65 infections. Good ole' SZ cleaned it up. This laptop just got cleaned up from 69 infections from a trojan that SZ found.
Not sure how, but SZ also shows that it had 'updated 10 minutes ago.' Does it really update? Not sure, and it doesn't matter, but I like to see that cute blonde gal smiling as a customer service rep on the software's front page.

- - Unauthorized Stopzilla charges total 79.91; note 6/16/21 antivirus 39.95; refund 79.91 and stop 9.99 charges.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with partial refund. After Pissed Consumer contacted Stopzilla most of it was refunded.
I noticed after reviewing my bank statement that they again charged me $9.99, on 7/31/21. I sent them a message but no reply.
I am going to contact MC. This has got to stop..
Please check your records and return my 79.91 and stop taking the 9.99 each month.

Even though Pissed Consumer contacted Stopzilla about my complaint on 6/4/2021,They did refund some of my money, but they charged me $9.99 again on 7/31/2021. I've contacted them on their site but I don't really expect a reply..
I'm thinking I have no other but to contact MC and make a complaint. I cannot recommend Stopzilla to anyone.
