We bought a new computer in 2012. I called Comcast who is our carrier and they gave me the name of someone to call.
Somehow, after trial and error I got in touch with Stopvilla. They gave me a price of $399 which I paid. Every 6 months or so they would call and tell me I needed to upgrade and charge me another $299 or so. I ended up paying in 2 years $1,500.
My subscription expired this month and they called. The person on the other end, said that if I didn't renew they would turn off my e-mail and my computer because it had been hacked into. (e-mail hacked by Russia).
I am 68 years old and on social security and can't afford to go through this.
