Stopzilla CANCELLED my lifetime subscription.

Some lifetime agreement they made with me!

If any company ever deserved a class action law suit against them my impression is IS3 / Stopzilla does. I hope some law firm takes a close look at this company and it's tatics and if a suit is warranted so be it.

Quote from their email:

"As a STOPzilla Lifetime subscriber, you are entitled to malware protection for the life of your current STOPzilla 5.0 product. However, this product will be obsolete as of January 31, 2013. It will continue to provide malware protection, but you will no longer receive future updates, making STOPzilla 5.0 ineffective."

Monetary Loss: $69.

The offer you received was an offer to transfer your licence to a higher technology product called STOPzilla AVM 2013, which contains an Antivirus, something your current product does not. We do not harm our customers, this program was intended to give you an upgrade to a higher level product for a minimal fee. We are the only company that makes this offer to our customers, other companies force you to pay a Lifetime license for the new product at $99, we feel that is wrong.

Again, nothing is going to happen with your product, it will continue to work, your license is valid, and you will continue to receive updates.

this is ***. i just called and they said they will send code to make life time software continue to work.

to my surprise the email said they are cancelling my lifetime software and will get a so called refund. Now why would you say one thing on phone and then different thing in the email.

People wake up this ceo is trying to cover up his obligation to the life time software. There will be no refund and no communication for sure.
